Teenagers Praomook and Chalantorn are temporarily married as part of a superstition to improve Chalantorn's luck. While Chalantorn sees Praomook as a nuisance, she has always loved him. Years later, they reunite in South Korea, where Chalantorn is shot. Believing the misfortune has returned, his parents ask Praomook to marry him again in exchange for buying back her father's house.
