A longstanding rivalry between two families, rooted in the feud of two women—Onnapa and Kannika—escalates into a war between their descendants. Onnapa, wronged by Kannika, harbors deep resentment, which passes down to her daughter, Ornsalao. Decades later, Ornsalao and Kannika's daughter, Thantawan, become bitter enemies. Thantawan struggles in love, trapped in a marriage with a gambler, while unknowingly having an affair with Onnapa's son, Worakorn. Meanwhile, her neglect of her younger children, Nonsee and Iris, leads to rebellion, with Iris running away with Ornsalao's son, Wech. Nonsee feels pressured to meet his mother's expectations.
