Neon, a lonely laundromat worker, steals a briefcase containing a million dollars from her crush, Night, a murder mystery novelist. When Night discovers the theft and confronts her, the briefcase is missing. The two must team up to find the real thief, using only the laundromat’s service log, which includes clues about various quirky characters: Judo, a university student; P'Chompoo, Night's landlord; Momay, a karaoke girl; and Nick and Smile, a rock couple.
