Kano Haruko, a fashionable shop assistant featured in magazines, dreams of becoming a high school teacher. When her former teacher offers her a chance to teach Japanese to foreigners for three months in exchange for a recommendation, she becomes a trainee at a Japanese language school. There, she teaches nine unique foreign students, including an Italian anime fan and a Swedish ninja enthusiast, while pursuing her goal of teaching at a high school.
