Jung Ki Hoon, an archaeologist exploring supernatural phenomena, is changed by an unexpected case. He now runs Monthly Strange Story, a magazine and YouTube channel. His ex-wife, Lee Soo Jin, leads him to Jinyang County to investigate a "Gwibul" (a Buddhist statue possessed by an evil spirit), where they encounter terrifying events. Lee Soo Jin, a former archaeologist, seeks answers after her child's death and experiences eerie occurrences in the county.
